Kevin A. Jones, Attorney (Of Counsel)

Kevin proudly represents workers who have been harmed by unlawful conduct in the workplace. Before becoming an attorney, Kevin worked a variety of jobs including as a commercial roofer, a forklift operator, and a factory worker at the same automobile assembly plant where his dad worked for 28 years.  These experiences inspired him to focus his law practice on protecting workers’ rights.

Kevin deeply respects and admires those who work tirelessly to better themselves and provide for their families. When employment laws are broken, the results can be devastating to workers and their families, both financially and emotionally.  Kevin’s goal is to aggressively obtain the best possible outcomes for his clients, so they can get back to their lives and focus on the things that are important to them.

While Kevin strives to obtain a successful outcome for his clients, he also wants them to understand and feel comfortable with the process. Kevin understands that the legal process can be confusing and intimidating, so he will take the time to explain how the process works and what you can expect at the various stages of your case. Throughout the course of representation, Kevin will guide you with straightforward and honest advice, so you can confidently make the best decisions for your career and family.

Kevin has represented workers and consumers his entire legal career.  Kevin recently obtained a judgment over $1,000,000 for a factory worker who was disciplined more harshly than younger employees.  Kevin also recently obtained a $13,000,000 jury verdict for a bakery worker who was defrauded by a trade school.  Kevin has also argued cases before the appellate courts including a state supreme court.

Kevin has been recognized by the Kansas City Business Journal as “Best of the Bar,” and was named a “Rising Star” by SuperLawyers magazine.

Kevin is licensed in the state and federal courts of Missouri and Kansas, as well as the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
